This group meets monthly for discussion about aspects of medieval history (c.400-1500 CE).

We do not confine ourselves to medieval British history but have also considered

e.g.

• e.g. the Byzantine Empire,
• the Vikings
• and the Normans.

Future topics will include medieval Spain and the Steppe peoples such as the Mongols. Topics are decided by the group members and a set of notes is sent out after each meeting, outlining what we 'covered'.
